For the reduction of air-regenerated noise of air terminal units Type TVZ, TVA, TZ-Silenzio, TA-Silenzio or TVM

Rectangular secondary silencer to reduce the air-regenerated noise, suitable for type TVZ, TVA, TZ-Silenzio, TA-Silenzio and TVM air terminal units

  • Absorption material made of non-combustible mineral wool with RAL quality mark, non-hazardous to health due to high biosolubility in accordance with the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance and Note Q of the European Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008
  • Mineral wool faced with glass fibre fabric as protection against erosion, for airflow velocities up to 20 m/s
  • Insertion loss measured according to ISO 7235
  • Casing air leakage according to DIN EN 15727, up to NS 200 class C, from NS 250 class B

Specification text

Rectangular secondary silencer for VAV terminal units to reduce the air-regenerated noise, available in 6 nominal sizes.


Casing with acoustic and thermal insulation.


Flanges on both sides, suitable for duct connection.


Casing air leakage according to DIN EN 15727, up to NS 200 class C, from NS 250 class B.


Meets the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022, DIN 1946, Part 4, as well as DIN EN 16798 and VDI 3803.


Insertion loss, pressure loss and sound power level measured according to EN ISO 7235.
